Paul E. Vasil, CPA

 Paul Vasil has been around public accounting his entire life. Beginning in
his early teens, he worked for his father's accounting firm during summers,
school vacations, and tax seasons.
He earned a BS in Accounting from Bentley College, has been a licensed
Certified Public Accountant since 1978, and is a member of the American
Institute of CPAs. He is
also licensed as a Real Estate Broker. Mr. Vasil's areas of expertise include
taxes, estates and trusts, forensic accounting, litigation, and international
ventures. His international experience includes establishing accounting
controls in foreign countries and participating in negotiations with both
the government and private interests in Europe and South America. In the
area of forensic accounting and litigation, he has served as an expert
witness regarding tax issues in divorce and business disputes and has participated in many successful
settlement discussions. Mr. Vasil also
serves as a trustee for various trusts and as a Director of several companies.

James J. Dowd, CPA


Jim Dowd has over twenty-five years of business experience in private industry
and public accounting. He has been a tax and business advisor to both closely
held companies and their owners. His client roster is varied and has included
companies in the fields of construction, engineering, and contract services.
During his more than 15 years in public accounting, he has addressed a wide
range of issues involving tax planning and compliance, including structuring
deals to reduce clients' income tax liabilities and helping them to obtain
financing. Mr. Dowd received a BS in mathematics from Boston College and an
MS in accounting from Bentley College. He holds a CPA license in the state
of Massachusetts and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. In
addition, he performs a variety of civic duties, including serving on the
Board of Trustees of Mt. Saint Joseph Academy in Boston.
